Excellent location, the room was clean and spacious and the facilities were perfect for our family of three. Staff were helpful and friendly - will stay again!

The hotel is in a great location, close to Gion & Karasuma. Hotel staff were really kind and gave some great location recommendations. Washing machine in the room was so helpful!

Nowhere to hang clothes to dry. The room was a bit dusty under the desk.

The Machiya Ebisuya is a beautiful, small hotel within walking ditance of the Gion without the noise and tourist traffic. The rooms are a good size and the details are perfect. We had two rooms - the Maisen no Ma tatami room with a garden and a Queen room for our daughter, who prefers a western bed. Both were calm and beautiful and the front desk staff was always very helpful. The futon were SO comfortable! Delicious breakfast as well in a gorgeous converted kimono shop next door.

Unfortunately the western beds are very hard (like sitting or sleeping directly on a boxspring). Our daughter's room (Queen) was not completely clean on check in and it smelled musty. Note that in the traditional rooms there is no place to put suitcases where there is any light to see what you're doing.

Todo la verdad, el personal es super amable las instalaciones son preciosas las lavadoras te salvan mucho y la decoración general es estupenda, las habaitaciones son muy grandes y bonitas muy cómodas con en aire…la verdad es que 100/10

Ottima posizione. Hotel piccolo con poche camere e molto accogliente. La nostra camera era davvero spaziosa. L'hotel offre caffè e tè alla reception. Personale accogliente e disponibile. L'hotel fornisce 2 opzioni per la colazione: un'opzione tipica giapponese e un'opzione più occidentale. La colazione occidentale è prevalentemente salata. Potrebbe essere una buona soluzione aver anche un'opzione dolce, anche se molto semplice. Eravamo consapevoli di questo aspetto alla prenotazione, non so tratta quindi un aspetto negativo relativo al soggiorno ma piuttosto un'eventuale opzione da poter implementare. La colazione tipica giapponese, anche se davvero inusuale per gli occidentali, va provata almeno una volta e la struttura la propone.

Hotel moderne bien situé à Kyoto.

Propreté moyenne: tâches de moisissures sur le rideau de douche et tâches indéfinissables sur le divan. Isolation sonore nulle. Nous étions heureusement au dernier étage. Je n'ose pas imaginer ce que ça donne avec une chambre au dessus. Aucune armoire dans la chambre. Il faut vivre "dans sa valise". Le personnel de l'accueil vous regarde passer sans avoir la politesse de dire bonjour. 2 menus disponibles pour de déjeuner. C'est bon mais il devrait être possible d'offrir un minimum de variation.
