Awesome hotel, everything looks very new, the rooms are extremely spacious, stylish and comfortable compared to other Japanese hotels. Staff was nice and I liked the location because it is in a very quiet street, but the main street and Gyon are 10-15 minutes away. A SevenEleven around the corner and plenty of great restaurants within 5-10 minutes walking distance.

The only disappointment was breakfast. We booked with breakfast, but there is no buffet. And although the quality of the breakfast is good, you get everyday (5 days) the same toast with some greenleaf salad, a jam. There are other options but you have to pay extra to ham and cheese on your toast, which is really unnecessary. Either don’t serve breakfast or offer a breakfast option that matches the level of the hotel itself. Otherwise the hotel was really great.

Only two laundry machines - if you need to do laundry, best to start early in the day because the cycles on these machines take hours and they appeared to be in use at all times. My room was on the 1st floor directly next to the elevator and it was quite loud in the evening due to other guests talking while waiting for the elevator. I asked to switch rooms and they were unable to accommodate this request. However, they did give me a complimentary late check-out to compensate.

Wir hatten uns für ein traditionell japanisches Zimmer entschieden, ein bisschen gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber alles war sehr nett und ordentlich. Freundlicher Empfang, Kaffee und Tee gratis im Zimmer oder am Empfang. Liegt ruhig, aber in wenigen Gehminuten gibt es viele Möglichkeiten für den kleinen Einkauf und eine breite Restaurantauswahl. Wir hatten das Frühstücksupgrade, das im Nachbargebäude serviert wird. Es handelt sich hierbei um einen Geheimtipp unter Touristen, da man hier ein japanisches Frühstück erhalten kann. Dementsprechend kann es auch sein, dass es eine Wartezeit gibt oder das japanische Frühstück weg ist. Grundsätzlich gab es nur die Auswahl zwischen japanisch (Suppe, Ente, Reis uw.) oder westlich, ein feste Zusammensetzung aus Panini, Shake, Granola und Salat. Für Leute, die hier mehrere Tage verbringen, ist das leider schnell eintönig, auch wenn das Frühstück selbst sehr lecker war und das Ambiente sehr nett.

Beautiful interior, Japanese style. Very clean, good beds so you get to sleep because it is overall.a.silent area.

Loved the location— right near the main things but tucked away off the beaten path. The exterior of the hotel is beautiful and it felt nice to walk into every day!

They monitor the air con and heat. As a westerner, it’s very hard to be sleeping in an 80 degree room— we like ac! Or simply like to have control of the air temperature. I couldn’t sleep in the same bed as my husband bc we were simply too hot. I opted for the couch at times and when I asked if they could lower it, they couldn’t and/or said they could but then never did etc. Additionally the rooms are a bit dark and a little muggy at times (after taking a shower in combo with the steam and heat, yikes!).

Great room! Nice, clean and spacious.
