O Canada House Bed & Breakfast

The location is ideal. The staff are delightful. The house is so quaint and homely. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast and hime baked goodies were delicious.

Convenient location, being just a 5 minute walk from a major shopping street and 10/15 minute walk from main downtown area. It was like stepping back in time to the Victorian era with the property appropriately furnished. Efficiently managed, despite never actually getting to meet the owners/managers. The staff that we did meet (Robert and Davorka) were charming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked.

There was no working television in the room which, these days, is regarded as a basic facility. We were informed that it would take several days to resolve, way beyond our 4 night stay. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but this is more than compensated by the communal pantry which is available 24/7 which not only has tea and coffee, but lots of other delightful treats, including (if you are lucky) homemade cake!

Everything. Lorrie was a fantastic host along with little daisy and lily, the breakfasts were delicious even had HP sauce 😊the walk in to town is quick all down hill, our advice take the long way back along the marina so it’s not as steep. The room was a generous size and very comfortable also loved that dressing gowns were provided. Thanks Lorrie x

The house was very cozy and we enjoyed visiting with the other guests. It is also a nice walk to downtown and we felt very safe doing so.

Even though advertised in the listing - I didn’t think about our luggage and having to get it up stairs; however, we were able to store it on the first level and felt safe in doing so.

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Schönes historisches Haus. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Die Matratzen in der Master Suite sind viel zu weich und auch der Teppich müsste erneuert werden.
