Hacienda Las Amantes

I was hesitant to book this hotel at the time due to limited reviews, but am so glad that I did. Honestly, one of the most beautiful and well maintained places we've ever stayed at. The staff was so accommodating, allowing us to check in early, serving amazing breakfasts and made us feel like we were welcomed guests. You have your entire run of the this place, as there are multiple seating areas, many with views of the city, as well as a small pool. We booked a room with a small balcony, and it was perfect for us. The rooms feel ancient, but have modern amenities and are very comfortable. This place is also perfectly located just outside the core of the city, so it's a little quieter and really only a 5 min walk to the busiest parts of town. Highly recommended.

The view of the city is amazing, the best in the city. The atmosphere is so authentic and beautiful. The breakfast is delicious.

We stayed in the room with the patio overlooking San Miguel and the view was so beautiful—one of the best views we had of the city. The property itself is also STUNNING. The photos definitely don’t do it justice. We loved just being at the hotel. The staff was kind and helpful. Don’t pass up an opportunity to stay here! It’s one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed.

The property is extremely unique. Very old Spanish colonial and solid stone everywhere. If you want authenticity and beauty through design and architecture, this is thebplace for you. And the location and view are really exceptional. Haven't even mentioned the staff, who were fantastic.

This is not a negative, but customers should be aware that San Miguel is built on a hill, which means there are some streets that are quite steep. Also, you are in Mexico, and not everyone speaks English. So you shouldn't expect that! Communication with staff was always possible with a translation app.

Everything was perfect!

Beautiful, charming hotel in a great location. Just two blocks to the big cathedral! We had low expectations because of the price and the photos. When we got there we were stunned. It was SO AMAZING!!! The staff were perfect. Armando helped us a lot and made us feel safe. Daniela was a great server and the cook prepared us the best breakfasts we had in Mexico. This hotel is a fantastic value. In front of my room was an outside area with a view of the city and the churches. The place was small and friendly. I recommend they get a professional photographer to take photos that do the place justice. It's much more beautiful than what you see.

Absolutely beautiful. I have never taken so many pictures of a hotel (hacienda). I felt like I was staying in a cultural museum/botanical garden. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our breakfasts in the garden in the morning.
