"Poor communication with no check-in instructions. Do not recommend!!"

We never received the property check-in instructions despite asking the property management numerous times on the day of check-in. After asking multiple times, my next communication with the property took place 30 minutes after the check-in time on the day of check-in. They finally responded and told me that I needed to download an app onto my phone, photograph myself and photograph the front and back of my credit card. Why would I need to do all of this when i have used Booking.com traveling all over the world?? I am charged through booking.com. Why was this not communicated to me when I made the reservation? it almost seems like identity theft in the making. I was unable to download the app. The property management never resolved the issue, never gave us the check-in instructions, despite me asking again after I could not download the app. so we stayed in a hotel. I expect a full refund!!!
