Courtyard by Marriott Rapid City

This hotel is fantastic and was the highlight of our trip. Everything is perfect from the staff who are extremely friendly and customer oriented, to the room and bed comfort (amazing bed❤️) and restaurant is very good. Definitely recommend and Hoping to go back in the future 🫶

The room was very spacious. It looked fairly new.

The price of the hotel was very high.

The only two good things we can say about this place was the bed was pretty comfortable and there was a Perkins and McDonald’s right up the road from it for breakfast because apparently if you go through booking.com to get your room, you are unworthy to get a free continental breakfast.

Housekeeping was awful. We found dirty socks left in our room from the previous people. Our room smelled like pickle juice the entire week. The check in hostess asked us if we really needed to have our room cleaned daily as if it would be a burden if we did. We arrived on Sunday and by Tuesday night we ran out of towels and washcloths and our trash cans were full. We asked for services and were told that we were on the schedule for Wednesday but they reluctantly brought us up some towels. They did not collect the old ones until they came Wednesday. When they did show up, she threw away our drinking cups in the bathroom and didn’t replace them. She didn’t check or replace the tissues and we ran out of them. Also, there was no anti-slip in the shower and I almost fell several times. For the 5 nights we stayed we felt slighted on services. Then we had to pay for parking when we got there. $10 a night. For $260-300 a night we paid, we should have gotten free parking, free breakfast and better services in a nicer smelling room. We would not recommend you staying here.
