Koukoumi Vegan Boutique Hotel

We absolutely loved our stay at Koukoumi - the staff were super accommodating and friendly. The fully plant based food was excellent - we went for the full board package and have never eaten so well. The only problem was we eat far too much! The rooms, pool and gym were also excellent and the hotel is a nicely, fairly secluded location. Overall, highly recommended!

It is located right by a very busy road with heavy traffic, even in the middle of the night. There is a nice fitness center, but it does not have a treadmill. When someone books a private session, the gym becomes off-limits to everyone else. The hotel has a spa and sauna, but access costs extra. Most 5-star hotels on Mykonos have vegan options on their menus, so you won’t miss out by booking a real 5-star hotel or resort with better views, a more secluded and quiet location, and free access to all amenities.

Our family at Koukoumi and it was lovely all around. As my 8 year old son has allergies to dairy and egg and is vegan it can be stressful to be away from home in another country however Koukoumi took away all those stress with it being a fully vegan hotel. They also did great around my own food intolerance to gluten. The food was delicious, try the pancakes (a favourite for my son!). The boutique hotel is intimate and that creates a peaceful and chill atmosphere. We enjoyed the pool which was never too busy. We also enjoyed the gym, and a personal training session, and I enjoyed yoga and a meditation session with Alex - these were all well worthwhile. The hotel staff all around were great and friendly. Our room was perfect.

This hotel AND restaurant is an absolute must! Calling all looking for a beautiful experience that will open your palette and your senses- this restaurant and hotel is a bucket list location! We had the menu degustation and it was incredible. We also stayed here and the location plus amenities were amazing. Lovely staff, great service, excellent workout room, and PHENOMENAL restaurant which i k uses a breakfast that will leave your jaw dropped. And the dinner- you have not experienced a dinner like the menu degustation. If you can treat yourself to this culinary delight, please do! We are from Washington, DC and this restaurant is going to leave you wanting more like it when you get home to the states.

First, the food and the restaurant team are simply amazing. Eating at Koukoumi is a Michelin worthy experience, and we have been 11 Madison in NY to experience a Michelin vegan experience. The problem is that the hotel presents itself as 5-star, when 3 stars would be more accurate. In contrast to the restaurant, the hotel is mediocre and the online photos are deceptive. When we arrived on June 13 (in the evening), with help from the front desk, we decided on going to go to Delos the next day. We then learned we needed to leave the hotel to get cash to pay for the experience that evening – in cash. This was not what we wanted to do on entry, but we went and got the cash. The next day, it was clear that we could have simply gone to the dock the next day and paid the same amount with a credit card. It is strange for a resort to claim to be five star and to send guests to go get cash? Then, on June 14, we spoke to the front desk about renting a car from June 15-17. They made arrangements with One rental. The car was delivered the next day to the hotel. Later that day, we called One on a repair issue (low air in tire), and they sent a mechanic to the hotel to do the repair on a tire. On June 17, we returned the car to One near the airport, and we were extorted to pay 30 Euros for “damage” to the wheel, damage that we did not cause. The “damage” was trivial and certainly under the category “normal wear and tear”. We found the behavior of One ethically unacceptable, and disappointed that Koukoumi refused to help us with our dispute. But, again, the food and restaurant service were excellent.

We stayed at Koukoumi Vegan Boutique Hotel to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and without exaggeration, it was the warmest welcome we have ever experienced. A huge thank you to the team for the complimentary upgrade in honor of our special day and all the thoughtful touches that made our stay truly unforgettable. For example, a breakfast dish that was no longer on the menu was specially prepared just for us. It’s clear that guest satisfaction is the highest priority here, and the kindness of the staff is absolutely genuine — everyone we met was truly warm-hearted and caring. The food was consistently a 10/10. Every evening we struggled to choose what to eat because everything on the menu sounded (and was!) amazing. We were genuinely sad to leave after three wonderful nights, but one thing is certain - this was definitely not our last stay at Koukoumi Vegan Boutique Hotel.

The property was a secluded vegan oasis in the craziness of Myknos. If you do not have a car, you can expect to spend most of your time on the resort, other areas of Mykonos are not that accessible. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
