Great location and the hotel owners were extremely kind. When we first arrived gave us tea and fresh pears to eat and were extremely hospitable. The breakfast in the morning is also extremely good.

The hosts were very kind. They drove us to a nearby restaurant and welcomed us for tea with them. The views were great from this property. They also prepared breakfast earlier for us as we wanted to go see the sunrise.

It is a tight space and not recently renovated. It would be more suitable for 3 or 4 people instead of 5.

The hosts are just lovely! Never met David, but his parents are the absolute bees-knees! I was late arriving, and when the bus pulled up outside their house, guess who was already waiting for me with a huge smile? I was then offered a lift to the local eatery, of which there are precious few around (more of that later), and subsequently collected when the restaurant rang them. Extraordinary. I was visiting Alishan National Park, ergo my 2 night stay at David's House. Overall, the sum here is much greater than the individual parts that are, David's House. On my travels, I occasionally come across an establishment whereby normal rules simply do not apply. You can see from the attached pics what the room and hotel was physically, actually like. However, you may also be able to deduce from the various smiles, what the essence of David's House is all about. If I returned, I would certainly stay here, I would just bring some extra provisions for late night feasts as I'm not accustomed to going to my bed too early. Just me... Highly Recommended.

You're in the middle of nowhere, literally. I know, I walked a couple of kilometres either way of David's House, and saw very little of note. There is a lifesaving petrol station a short walk away, which sells beer, and food that can be microwaved at the hotel, (there is a microwave available to use on the ground floor), just in case you're here for a couple of day's. The room is basic, and of a different age but clean, so no issues for me. Although I travel fairly extensively, my palate is poor and unrefined, so the breakfast offerings may well suit the majority reading this, but did not quite hit the mark for me. I survived, so it can't have been that bad. It was fine, just not what I would have normally chosen, and please don't message me to say I was in XXX, so this is what I should expect. It is what, it is, which is exactly how I tell it...

住宿的地方交通很方便。看日出看夕陽都用走的即可。。早餐是老闆娘親自下廚很好吃。。老闆夫婦倆很熱情一直招待現泡的茶。
