"A lovely, cosy hostel with a couple of bunk rooms, a twin room and communal spaces to relax in."

The hostel is lovely and has a relaxed atmosphere. It was nice to have the communal tatami room to relax in. The showers are very good. Breakfast was great. The host is really nice.

A mattress protector or blanket between the sheet and mattress would make the bed more comfortable as the sheet was slipping on the mattress and i could feel the matress stitching through the sheet. It was fine, but a simple thing could make it a whole lot more comfortable.

The owner is awesome and so friendly! Everything is very nice and cozy and you're well taken care of when you stay here.

The only thing, only thing, is that the pillow is kinda flat and tiny. Other than that great experience

"Michi the host is incredible, good breakfast and good local restaurants nearby"

First of all- Michi is the kindest and sweetest host ever. And she makes really good breakfast. The room was comfortable to stay at, the common areas were always clean and welcoming and the shower rooms were also really comfortable to use. I liked the location but it is a bit far from the Teine station (20 min walk), though if you're coming with a car that's not a problem. Really easy to get to Teine ski resort from here and there are a few different relly good restaurants within walking distance.

"The epitome of Omotenashi (Japanese hospitality/generosity)"

The guest house had a very homely feel, it felt like I was staying in a quaint cabin, which was perfect for the Sapporo snow. Its also near the major ski slopes for those who want to go skiing or snowboarding. The owner Michiko was also a VERY GOOD host. She would personally cook us breakfast, and she was also very generous in giving us suggestions and recommendations for nearby food places or advice our planned itinerary. She even invited us for KTV on our second night, which was crazy!

Nothing at all, a great place to stay!
