50m to the gondola at Happo One. Biggest downside was we did t want to bother going to any of the other resorts bc it was so easy.

The location of the lodge is very convenient - it's steps away from the happo-one Gondola and ticket office. The shuttle bus stop is right next to the building. Every room in the apartment is spacious, including the 2 large bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped. The gas fireplace is wonderful on a cold evening. The beds are quite comfortable. The apartment has underfloor heating throughout (including both bathrooms) so there are no cold corners. There is a large heated mudroom at the entrance where all the ski equipment and winter coats can be kept dry and warm.

The central location has its downside - the apartment is at a very busy intersection and next to a shuttle stop so there is very little privacy. We were also awakened twice at 5am by machines clearing snow in the shuttle parking area. Be prepared to step out of the apartment into traffic and crowds during the day. The apartment has a private parking lot next to the building but we had to do quite some snow shoveling during our stay (it had been snowing hard) to get the car in and out of the lot and driveway. We had some problems communicating with the host through booking.com messaging. We were not able to get check-in instructions until the day of our arrival - after we managed to email the company directly. I hope the host can sort out the communication issues soon for the future guests.

We recommend dealing with the property directly rather than through Expedia, as communication was excellent once we did so. The team was incredibly helpful and accommodating with all our requests. The heating system and TV were a bit tricky to figure out at first, but everything worked fine once we got the hang of it. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the Happo One Gondola Adam—and very peaceful.

Fantastic location right near lifts. Had heavy snow just befored we arrived so was fantastic. Joanie was super helpful from onli e check in till we were dropped off at the train station.gave very informative knowledge of what to do in the area and where various places were. Highly recommend to stay here.

Location to happo, and the ease of getting around other mountains.

Located opposite the Gondola and in a fabulous location to ski in ski out and access the village cafes, ski hire and restaurants. Lots of space in the bedrooms and apartment. Pick up and drop off service to the bus station really good.

Fire place was gas and would not stay lit. Very annoying. It also started speaking Japanese on our last night warning about something and we couldn’t stop it. Kitchen lacked equipment to cook, no tea towels to wipe up and we had a broken sink plug and they didn’t have a spare. The noise from the road clearing on our last night was extremely loud and woke us all up at 4am! Shared laundry with 5 apartments made washing and drying your clothes a chore and time consuming. For the price you pay your apartment should have its own laundry facilities.
