I really hate to give negative feedback but this was not an ideal stay. Upon arrival the digital key service was still unavailable in my app so we had to make a trip to the front desk to get our key card and by this point I already had a bad feeling. Once at the front desk I was told that the room I booked was unavailable and the time was now approximately 10:30pm so finding another room nearby was pretty much out of the question as this was during a peak time for events downtown. After looking for a few minutes and anxiously waiting the lady found another room and said “it was the last room they had” so we took it. All this after I did the online check in before we arrived and it even selected a room for me that was apparently not available according to her. When we finally reached the room, we noticed as soon as we open the door that it didn’t look exactly clean, a quick look around revealed a towel was hanging up from the previous guest and food in the refrigerator had been left behind. The beds had been made, but it still looked slightly disorganized as if housekeeping was nearly finished and left before completing the room. It’s nearly 11 PM and with no other rooms available we just decided to stay, I would’ve probably just left at that point if it hadn’t been for such an inconvenience and so late at night. I guess what’s irritating the most is we paid a premium price with our points and got a very mediocre experience in a room that hadn’t been cleaned. I should’ve went back downstairs that night and just requested a refund and left but as I said before, it was just so late, I didn’t feel that I could find a room nearby. I did, however, share my experience at the front desk the next morning, and I even showed them the pictures. I was told they would have someone contact me, but never did. I made it clear I didn’t want anything in return but just to speak to someone regarding my experience, unfortunately no one ever contacted me even after I gave online feedback as well. By no means am I saying this is a bad Hotel I just think there was a lot of oversight with housekeeping and this is my personal review. The hotel itself is very nice and Breakfast was a pleasure, the location is excellent and parking onsite is very convenient.

Jun was great. Helped me out at the front desk concession stand. I was having trouble with the self checkout Great guy.

Rooms were clean and convenient. Location is close to good spots to eat. Jun at the front deck was most helpful. Check in was a breeze, and price was reasonable.

Jun was a professional at the front desk. The place was great. The room was clean had a great view. Breakfast was good. Everything was wonderful.

Easy parking, great location, peaceful experience.

We had an excellent experience during our stay at Tru by Hilton, Indianapolis Downtown. The staff was outstanding—especially Jun, who truly went above and beyond. He was exceptionally friendly, professional, and helpful with local directions, and he made a wonderful impression on our entire group. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the complimentary breakfast offered a nice variety to start the day. We were in town for a cheer competition and appreciated being able to gather in the lobby for a pizza party with our team. The staff even mingled with us, which made the atmosphere feel warm, welcoming, and very much like home. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would gladly return if we come back to Indianapolis!
