the location was close to my area of interest

Upon arriving at the property, I was greeted by a strong smell of mold and humidity as soon as I entered the building. Despite multiple messages confirming my arrival time, the host failed to activate the heater, leaving the room unbearably cold. The furniture and decor were extremely poor in quality, and the air conditioning was non-functional, even after several attempts to get it working. I couldn’t stay longer than 20 minutes and left the property. This was by far the worst experience I've had, especially compared to bookings made through other platforms like Booking.com.
