Location was not so far to subway

The bathroom sink was constantly clogged, the air conditioning wasn't working properly, there was a strong dusty smell in the room, and you couldn't open the windows because of the incredible smell of food coming from outside. The room was constantly noisy due to the clubs nearby. The rooms were incredibly small and poorly designed. The hotel wasn't clean enough either.

The location is really good, close to many restaurants and also there's a konbini just right next to it. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the room was big compared to other hotels I stayed in Japan. The room is also well decorated, simulating a traditional japanese house.

I came late to the hotel one night and had to do laundry, but the two machines were full, so I called the staff to help me. A man appeared running with heavy breathing as if he ran miles to get there, but he was actually in the room just next to the lobby. When I asked for his help, he wasn't very helpful, only saying one phrase and leaving running again. I had to call him 3 times to be able to do my laundry because everytime I asked something, he ran away after replying. Having said that, another staff (a woman) was really helpful and helped me with a problem with my bike rental, calling the service in behalf of me. So it kinda balanced out.

The accommodation was more spacious than expected, with a good-sized double bed and also had a small table and two chairs. The bathroom had both a bath and a shower, with a separate vanity area and the toilet was separate. It felt like a boutique hotel, it was very nicely decorated, with shutters over the window. It was conveniently located, with a Lawsons next door and only a short walk to the Metro and Pontocho Alley.
