The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Great experience at the winery. The wine and food exceeded all expectations. Having Cesar, the owner, greet and engage with us was special and very much appreciated.

Really nothing. It was as advertised. A small family owned vineyard and winery. We stayed in the main house which we expected to be rustic and it was.

Como são poucos quartos, o restaurante nao tem funcionamento para jantar todos os dias. Deve ser avisado/agendado. Há restaurantes próximos mas o hotel não é central, então você depende de carro. A saída do hotel na estrada tem que ser bem atenta.

Location is amazing , fantastic staff, incredible meals in an authentic atmosphere with gorgeous views and very quiet

Beautiful estate and vineyard in the amazing Douro Valley. Quaint and simple but had everything you need

Cesar, the owner, was fantastic, immediately made us feel welcome, to the point we actually went to dinner with him in town on the first night. He has a great life story that he is enthusiastic to tell. Second night Cesar gave us a tour of the vineyard and an explanation about how they make wine from grape to glass. That night we had a taster menu created by his chef that was excellent, with different wines and ports at each course. Finished with a trip to the shop where we purchased a case to be sent directly to the UK.

The lane up to the house is a tight turn and very steep.

The staff and owner were wonderful and very obliging . We loved the property and enjoyed our stay.

The only complaint was the dogs barking at night but that’s the idea of having dogs. They keep you aware of intruders. But overall no major issues with the property
