The staff was very welcoming. The location is perfect if you want to explore the center of Noumea. Good for a one-night transit stop before your next journey to islands or other locations.

There was a little confusion about breakfast. There is no buffet. They have breakfast packages. Their Tropical breakfast was included. It was nice, but it did not include any eggs or bacon. However, you can upgrade for an extra cost for bacon and eggs. Overall, the meal was fresh and yummy.

The pillows were very uncomfortable, we didn’t sleep very well at all, think they need replacing.

Das Hotel liegt nur wenige Gehminuten vom Hafen entfernt. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet und nicht besonders groß, aber für ein Stadthotel völlig in Ordnung. Besonders praktisch ist die Nähe zum Hafen. Ideal für eine Nacht als Zwischenstopp, z. B. vor dem Flug oder der Fähre – sehr zu empfehlen für eine kurze Übernachtung in Nouméa.

All the crew at the Gondwana has been absolutely brilliant, location is central but quiet, there is a lovely space outside to have breakfast or have some take aways. Beds are very comfortable and all spaces are bright and clean. There is tea and coffee and hot water available for free. Dealing with everyone from front of the house to kitchen staff to manager has been very pleasant and they are all doing their best for you to enjoy your stay. We had a lovely stay there.
