Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Harrisburg S - Mechanicsburg by IHG

We stayed for four days, three nights. We did not receive housekeeping services once during our entire stay. When I spoke with the housekeeping manager, she stated that we must have had the "Do Not Disturb" sign on our door. I advised that we left our room at approximately 9:00 am and removed the sign once we left. She stated that the housekeeper would have skipped our room and not returned. We stayed for the Corvettes at Carlisle event, most likely their busiest time of year, and they only had one person on our floor doing housekeeping. Also, we ate breakfast at the hotel our first morning. It was extremely lacking. The food was luke warm at best and did not taste good at all. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

The selection was better than most places I’ve stayed at.

Front desk staff were awesome very helpful and caring (Victoria and Skylar), helped with a few questions I had and was very patient.

better variety of items would be nice. We only had the option of either pancakes (no butter available) or omelets each day . There was cereal available but not a lot of options nor many options for fruit.

When I checked in and was filling out the paperwork I noticed that I was in a king suite however I booked a queen suite and ended up in a queen standard. The pool was extremely small and cold. It wasn't in the advertisement but a hot tub would be a good addition especially for travellers needing to relax muscles after a long drive

Stay was great! The only issue was the parking, we strugged to find parking a few times due to the trucks with trailers taking up multiple spaces.
