PHƯƠNG NHUNG HOTEL

Where do I begin. This place was outstanding for me and what I needed. After a week in Saigon and a very wet ride over to the hotel, a solid 5 hours might I add, I had a warm welcoming and a comfortable night's sleep, but after a late night swim in the pool to unwind. There was beautiful cats I made friends with on the first night, then in the morning greated by the the most friendly dogs playing. It was very peaceful and the local town has everything you could need. The owner and amazing host joined me for a beer, we talked and made friends, the next night I got invited to join a Vietnamese family to eat and drink with them, music, beer and amazing food on offer to me out of kindness. It was a night that will forever stay in my heart. I have I now sure life long friends in Vietnam and a night to remember for the rest of my life. Thank you so much for the kindness and generosity.

Having not booked longer there to enjoy it longer

Beds were comfortable (spring mattresses that are firm, but not too hard nor too soft). Hot water showers (though not great pressure, and it can take a while to get hot but does eventually). Good air-conditioner (my first room the A/C did break down, so they moved me to another room immediately). Small refrigerator in the room, which worked well. TV with a few movie channels (my first room had great reception but my second room wasn't as good). Good reliable WiFi. Pet friendly, which is important, as I ride around Vietnam, Laos & Cambodia with my dog. Situated off the main street, so it's quiet but within short walking distances to restaurants/ quans (off all cuisines) and mini marts, plus a small supermarket (Bach Hoa Xanh chain). They also have a pool (which looked very clean) with lots of poolside seating.
