Number Five

The house was nice (maybe in need of a little refurb in places) but it was big enough for a family of 5. We all slept well and only really used it for a base for the evenings. It had everything you needed and the host (despite living in the annexe in the garden) was very respectful of our privacy. Nice touches like tea towels, washing up liquid etc that you may sometimes forget to take away and a big selection of books and some family games and a nice big garden with furniture to sit out on but we didn’t really have time to use any of these.

My husband wasn’t keen on the owner being in the annexe in the garden as he felt he couldn’t relax but she was very respectful of our privacy and we only saw her pop along the garden once for a parcel delivery. A few little things like mould on the bathroom ceiling, couldn’t get the tv to work in the bedroom but we weren’t bothered as we didn’t really spend long in the property. The house across the road had a party on the first night of our stay which did keep us awake but it was bank holiday and didn’t go past midnight so couldn’t complain too much.

The facilities were excellent. No 5 was a in an excellent location and a very comfortable house with everything we needed. I could not fault it in any way, it was a lovely house to return to after a day exploring. It was a small family holiday to visit relatives in Somerton, we all agreed it was superb.

The lounge was plenty big enough for all 6 of us and we loved that the hosts left us some board games in the house for rainy days in, there was a lovely cider farm approx 1 hour walk from the house too. All three double beds were comfy and soft and the rooms were all clean and Kempt

There wasn’t much to dislike at all

Lovely house and in the pleasant town on Somerton. The house had everything we needed, and Becky was a superb house. Highly recommended!
