It was okay for the price. We left our room for a couple of hours and came back to our room smelling like weed. The people above us kept us up all night because it sounded like they were rearranging the room. Then the next night we kept having people knock on our door all night.. each time we opened the door they had the wrong room.

The location was okay.

Room was very dark, with only small wall sconce (that had a bulb out). There was stuff left in the fridge. Only one easily accessible outlet, across the room from the beds and had the tv, microwave, and fridge plugged into it. The second was behind a bed, which I’m pretty sure is against the ADA. Loud people running and stomping outside of the room. Horrible smoke smell, and some weird “Helicopter” noise coming from the ventilation, we think. Garbage was not emptied when we checked in. Two bulbs out in the bathroom.

It was just a quick trip and a cheap place to stay. It was average. We didn’t have any issues except when it came time to check out. We had to leave a $60 deposit and it had to be in cash. We informed the girl that checked us in that we had a flight to catch so we would be leaving early and she assured us someone would be in the office. That was not true. We were unable to get our deposit back because we had to leave for the airport. I called all morning and afternoon and finally talked to someone who told me I had to come back and pick up the deposit. I live in Michigan! They said they would return the money on the card that I used to pay for the room, but I haven’t gotten it yet so I guess we’ll see how that goes. Other than that everything was fine.

It’s always a bad sign when at check in the clerk is completely behind plexiglass. They require a $60 cash deposit at check in and they have to inspect the room for damages at checkout before you get your cash back. That gives you an idea of their normal clientele. It’s better than sleeping in your car, I guess.

It was available and we needed something for the wrestling tournament. All the good and decent priced hotels were booked up.

Fairly run down. Low class. No coffee. Walls are thin and we could hear others. Room was dingy and not much light. Signs requesting not to stain sheets yet sheets were stained upon arrival. charging $10 for key card loss is ridiculous. No one does that. It just adds another bad taste on top of the other negatives. No coffee or breakfast as indicated there would be. Office was not open at seven as indicated on the door… Employee was sleeping in the back room. Booking.com charged my card and I was also charged at the hotel upon arrival. I’m hoping that this gets fixed. Asking for $50 cash as a security deposit was completely odd and offputting. No one does that either. And where was the ice for the ice bucket? Tub is old and dirty. The bathroom door is falling apart. Oh, I do have one or two positive things to say… The floor was decent since it’s brand new.

I was required to pay a $60 cash deposit on check in even with my credit card payment. I’ve never had to do something like this.
