Mayfly Cottage

A lovely tucked away location nestled in the countryside, with beautiful surroundings, selection of inns and local country shop for supplies. We had the most hospitable hosts close by in the event of any issues. Thank you very much for a wonderful and revitalising stay!

A lovely cosy cottage set in a beautiful area. We were made to feel very welcome.

If you want a peaceful, comfortable time in a very pretty area, Mayfly Cottage is perfect. It is in the loveliest setting with the river almost at your doorstep surrounded by beautiful trees, birds and various animals both wild and domesticated. Kate and David are a charming, relaxed and helpful couple (their 2 delightful dogs must get a mention), and nothing seemed a bother. The Cottage is small but excellent for solo or a couple, I couldn't have wished for a nicer week.

Wonderful, romantic and unique experience in the beautiful Cotswolds, the “heart of England”. Beautiful and lovely cottage with a marvelous countryside surroundings. Very close to all nice and interesting cities in the region. Warm and extremely kind hospitality of David and Kate, always ready to make your stay as pleasant as possible, making you feel at home. Very good infrastructure, joining comfort and privacy.
