Casa de la Asunción

The location is magnificent. We were there at the Day of Dead. The parade goes in front of the hotel. We watched the whole parade from our room’s balcony, was amazing.

There was no breakfast, but there are lots of cafe’s and restaurants close to the hotel. They don’t change towels and sheets, they say they do it every 4 days, we were there for 3 days, we couldn’t catch it. The first day, I didn’t know the rule, so I throw the towels on the bathroom floor (like all the other hotels all over the world), but they got them from the floor and put it back to hanger🫣The windows and doors are not sound proof, the whole noise of the street and parade is in the room. If you have difficulty to sleep in the noise, definitaley don’t choose this hotel

La cercanía hacia muchos lugares de interés.

Que no acertamos en los sitios de comidas. Debimos asesorarnos con los taxistas.

You have to be careful with the having the street-facing room, which is super noisy

The interior of this hotel is absolutely beautiful. The courtyard, columns and wide staircase were built with the cantera, seen in many historic buildings around Oaxaca.

The hotel was spacious and very comfortable.

That there were no elevators.
