If walking the VF you will initially consider Viterbo to be a modern urban area. Once you get to the hotel area it is a lovely historic area w cafes, parks & this convenient hotel. It had everything you need & good breakfast.

Would be nice if rooms all had fans.

Very interesting location in a narrow side street in the heart of the medieval town. Has a really special atmosphere.

My room did not have A/C. Luckily there was a nice breeze and the night wasn't hot so I did not need it anyway.

The price when discounted is excellent value. The price includes a very good breakfast but I have only had breakfast once as I leave before that starts but if you can be there for breakfast this becomes outstanding value. The breakfast includes eggs, cheese and yogurt and the coffee from the machine is quite nice.

No air conditioning and the offered up cooling system does not work and is not effective. But this is very much a budget hotel and good value. It is used by groups without which I doubt the breakfast could be offered at all.

Friendly staff. An excellent location, spacious rooms and a wonderfully varied breakfast. The fan in the room helped to cool the room on high temperatures. Ideal for the via francigena since the residence has 2 chapels.
