Coffee tour was very! informative, Breakfast service was superb. Even though the property is outside the city George arranged very good transportation connections and even got us a discount on the bus to Medellin. The staff made this a comfortable and enjoyable place.

Could have had some more shelves for clothing, etc.

Wow, just wow! Beautiful place, great food, amazing views and fantastic people. They were all very friendly and caring. They even checked on us when we went to town to make sure we were fine. Jorge, Irene and the whole staff were great, they made us feel totally at home. I would highly recommend this piece of paradise for the peace and quiet it brings.

Nothing, the closest thing to perfection.

The property and the views are beautiful, and it's peaceful and feels in nature. The level of service offered was phenomenal. they went above and beyond with everything. I had personal transportation, so the location was perfect, more or less in the middle of all of the destinations I wanted to visit. If I return to the zona cafetera, I will definitely stay here again.

the whole reason to come here is the coffee farm, but the hotel portion is also really awesome. lunch and dinner are about $10, breakfast is included and the food is really good. hammock outside my room which I love. the views are stunning

Most outstanding service and warm-hearted owners

Hacienda Guayabal is a faboulous place. Conveniently located in the vicinity of Chinchina it is easily reachable by taxi. Jorge and his family do their best to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The coffee tour they offer was an unforgettable experience. Local guide Santiago who performs the tour is such a databank of information eager to provide insight into coffee production process. Truly recommendable!

We simply loved it. The staff was very welcoming (we heard “this is your home” several times and truly felt it) and helpful. Jorge ensured we had all the info we needed to get there and to get the right bus for the departure. The rooms are simple, but very clean and the bed it very comfortable. We loved waking up and having breakfast with a wonderful view of the coffee plants and colourful birds! Very nice pool and good food (with nice salads). The coffee tour with Santiago was truly the best tour we’ve ever done: it was very well structured, complete and hands-on, and off the very touristic Salento area (we were lucky to even have a private tour!). Santiago is a great teacher and knew the answer to all our questions. We will never drink coffee the same way anymore! Gracias Jorge, Irene, Juan-Juan y Santiago, ha sido un enorme placer!

perfectly located in the middle of coffee Plantages. Jorge + the entire team are the kindest hosts I’ve ever met. The coffee tour has been both, informative and fun. Big recommendation!
