Cae Berllan Cottages

The house is massive. 7-8 people can easily live there. Very good place for a big family get together. Night time sky view is something different here.

Great location, large and spacious, has everything to enable you to cook your own meals, a dishwasher etc. I found the double bed really comfortable, great outdoor area for children if you have them, swings, stuff to play on, also tables and chairs outside with BBQ. Great little family getaway. Hosts were lovely and it was well worth the price, would highly recommend staying here

A little bit of damp smell to our cottage, however my friends say this is normal for Wales and you get used to it after a short while, if you have allergies just ensure you have antihistamines with you if you are sensitive

Well prepared for a family self contained holiday. Calm and peaceful, excellent location to discover the surrounding area. 2 bed cottage is well laid out and spacious.

Shower base could do with a deep clean. But really there were no major issues.

Great for a cheap family holiday with young grandkids

Beautiful place. Very quiet and relaxing. Close to lots of attractions including snowdonia.

Only issue was there is only one bathroom.

Good communication from the host, very prompt answering any messages through Booking.Com, including us arriving later than planned as it was a lovely day and we wanted to stay out longer. The place is lovely, a really safe environment for young children with lots of grass and toddler toys. Lots to help young families including a cot, great bathroom, and plenty of slides etc for very young children. Games and dvds for families in the cupboard. Lovely big rooms especially the bathroom with gorgeous fluffy towels.. Well equipped kitchen with a bottle of wine and some milk sachets and coffee/tea/biscuits for a lovely welcome. I would definitely come here again if I need a little oasis.

Very little really was not good. It's a little off the beaten track, so that's good for some and not so good for others.

We received a warm welcome from the host. There was everything you needed for a comfortable stay including tea coffee milk biscuits and a bottle of wine which was much appreciated. We overlooked an orchard. The outside space was lovely to sit out in (apart from the garden needed some attention) and as the weather was great we appreciated this. Very close to Caernarfon, Portmeirion and Anglesey.

The property could do with a deep clean. Carpets very dirty, nets needed replacing, windows needed a good clean, cushion covers were dirty and the shower was very dirty. Bedding seemed old. Also the cupboards in the kitchen were very musty along with the wardrobe in the twin room. The outside space at the front needed weeding and plants needed pruning over the gate arch. Could be fabulous if it was given a bit more love.
