Old Port Hotel

Central, clean, comfortable

The room was a very nice size and was not over furnished. Aside from that the beds were very comfortable and it was convenient to have a separate bathtub and shower.

The "view" from the balcony was non existant. There was an issue with the air conditioning, however, the staff sorted it out beautifully and treated us very well.

Everything about this hotel was good. My room looked like the picture, it was clean and spacious, the balcony was large. the bed was comfortable. The shower had both the big rainfall shower and a hand held directable option with good temperature control and water pressure. For me the highlight was the breakfast that was served in the courtyard. I had avocado toast with poached eggs, greek yoghurt that was served with granola and fresh fruit. There was also choice of coffees, I tried the cappuccino and the long black. Both were excellent. My colleague had the filter coffee which was actually an individual size cafetiere rather than a drip filter coffee. I'd recommend this if you don't like strong coffee, personally I preferred the long black.

There wasn't anything about the actual hotel that I didn't like, I was in Cyprus for a conference so this hotel and its location was perfect for me. I didn't have much time for leisure so it felt like there wasn't actually a beach nearby although it is near the old port, with lots of bear and restaurant options and it it didn't have a pool, so i probably wouldn't choose this hotel for a holiday. However, you can swim from the nearby pier although the boards on the pier felt quite precarious. I did take this option to manage a few minutes in the sea.

Ottima posizione vicino alla cirrà vecchia, con buoni bar e ristoranti nelle vicinanze. Camera grande e comoda, con due balconi. Ottima colazione con piatti a scelta. Staff molto cordiale.

Servirebbe un cuscino più comodo, ma è una questione personale.
