"Hotel not too oriented to international travellers"

it seemed quite well renovated and the location was convenient.

I understand that the language can be a barrier, but after 3 weeks in Indonesia it was the first time I was truly disappointed with the staff. we asked for a very late check out, at 17.00, offering obviously to pay for it. But the staff instead of asking management or saying no, we don’t do that. they lied saying that the hotel was fully booked. After a second attempt we managed to pay for a late check out. As Westerners we didn’t feel particularly welcomed. So i think is not a very international oriented hotel. breakfast was not particularly good. we had twin room, beds are on the small side.
