Pension und Restaurant Gutshaus Kaltenhof

Reception and restaurant look very nice, and in good weather the closeness to the beach is surely an advantage.

The rooms need an update, they look nothing like a 4star hotel should look, far from it. We booked for New Year's Eve, and the hotel had their own party in the evening. We were not informed about this, and of course, it is to be expected on that day, but it would have been good service (again: 4 stars) to inform any guests booking for that night that the hotel is small and that the party will take place in the same building as the bedrooms just one floor down and last until 2 a.m. If we had known we would never have booked. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and we both woke up with back pain. The breakfast was ok, but clearly they used left overs from the dinner the night before (no description on the items and dry surfaces on the pastries/dips/cheese slices etc), which was weird. Definitely not worth the high price and not a 4 star hotel in my opinion.

sehr schöne Pension mit sehr netten und aufmerksamen Mitarbeitern, die auch Sonderwünsche gern erfüllen, sehr gutes Frühstück.

Das Gutshaus hat ein tolles Gelände und im Zimmer hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Das Personal war immer hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Speisen im Restaurant waren vorzüglich. Zum Frühstück im Wintergarten konnte man die Aussicht und die reichhaltige Auswahl genießen.
