Hotel Arcata

Room is a little small, but outside that....very nice

Very nice, especially considering the age.

Location! Smack right at the center of downtown. Love the history of the place and the characteristics of the room. The water pressure of the shower was strong. Had several big windows in my room that gave lots of light and fresh air during my stay.

Tv was not really working but I have gadgets with me so didn't even bother at all. The bathroom sink drain was slow but was not a big deal.

Great historic hotel and great price. Right in the center of Arcata Plaza - so lots of cute shopping and restaurants. The sushi place connected to the hotel was tasty. The room we had suited our needs and the bathroom had great water pressure. Our "view" faced the other rooms and part of the roof which was a bummer but we also didn't hear any of the street noise.

Clean. Japanese restraunt down stairs. Very central to nice town.

Strict pet policy.

We had a good experience in a historical hotel. It was fun to step back in time for a little bit. The hotel staff was very helpful and courteous. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys something a bit different.

Location is great and always such a welcome place to stay near the end of my annual road trip. My late husband and I enjoyed being there at the end of our camping trips in the Trinity Alps. I appreciate that dogs are always welcome there.

A refrigerator in the room would be nice.
