B&B Giunone

Carlotta è stata gentilissima e disponibilissima nello spiegarci la struttura e come visitare al meglio la zona, posizione comoda per visitare la valle dei templi ma allo stesso tempo vicina al centro. Inoltre e’ pulitissima. Colazione buona. Consigliatissimo.

Beautiful place and very good location

The apartment was spacious and clean. It was very secure and we felt safe. The breakfast was great. It was just out of the town but some fantastic restaurants nearby.

The check in was very late and the owner was not flexible with the time. He said we can check in from 4:30pm, even though our booking was stated 4:00pm.

People were very nice and it was a lovely breakfast. It's location meant we could walk to the Valley of Temples which was great. We could also leave the car parked at the B&B which was very helpful.

Access to the B&B was difficult due to the gates requiring a key. The buzzer didn't work and we didn't have signal to call so had to follow other people through the gates. Pillows on the beds were very hard and not comfortable. Shower was quite small. The location was good for the Valley of the Temples but that meant the walk into Agrigento was all uphill!

Friendly owner

Although she didn’t speak much English, our gracious hostess made herself understood and was very accommodating. The breakfast with fresh fruits and juices was served in a relaxed kitchen/breakfast room.

The entrance to the parking area was tricky to find.

Clean, quiet, spacious room, a very generous breakfast, easy walking distance to the Valley of the Temples, and, most of all, exceptional service. The night I arrived, Gerlando picked me up from the train station even after reception hours, and the day I left, he picked me up from the archaeological museum and dropped me off at the bus terminal — no charge, and wouldn’t even accept my tip. Great value, and tons of hospitality that far exceeded what I would expect.
