This was the best place I have ever booked on the site. Perfect location, brilliant facilities and brilliant host

The pod was lovely, and lots of nice touches, decor and all the bits and pieces you would need. We didn't make use but there was a nice bbq area and even a fire pit area to sit around. There was plenty of space in the pod, for what it was, it was all very clean, kitchen area meant we didn't have to eat out, no oven but a microwave and hob, a nice sofa area with TV, the shower and toilet area were fine, nice and warm water - nice to look out and see the sheep and chickens walking around. Parking right next to the pod so easy to move bag to and from. Easy to find, and perfect for the NC500 as just off the track

Nothing really regarding the pod itself or the immediate area The village of Lybster was okay, a nice little spar shop, I'd use that - but the nearest large place Wick was a bit rough, even got verbally abused in the petrol station there for (I think) using the wrong pump (maybe his favorite!) from what sounded like a drunk aggressive local, I'd avoid Wick and that part as much as possible leave them to themselves, there are plenty of other pleasant nice areas to stop at and invest your tourist money in, also loads of other petrol stations and shops on the way. Hopefully they may build a Wick bypass, then they can happily keep themselves and abuse to between each other.

Clean and well organised

Definitely our favourite pod during our 2.5 week tour of Scotland! Amazing space, with everything and more that you could need. Maggie was such a nice host, who provided us with lots of great recommendations for the local area (we altered our plans to check out Chanonry Point and we did indeed see dolphins, thank you!!). The pod really felt like an extension of Maggie's home & personality, rather than just a land owner wanting some extra cash and the little fairy touches around the place really made us feel like we were at home. The honesty box is a wonderful idea, we couldn't resist picking up a couple of bits to take a piece of Lybster home with us. Super comfy and spacious, the ideal pod for a relaxing getaway from busy life.
