"Nice old fashioned hotel near waterfront in small town"

Nice clean room with a comfortable bed. Old-fashioned hotel with restaurant downstairs. Overlooks channel into Lake Eerie.

One cavil: thermostat was preset and couldn’t be adjusted.

"Owner/Mgmt should have to stay in room 403 overnight...Maybe they will do something to fix things"

Location was downtown but on Monday and Tuesday, the downtown and hotel restaurant are all closed. That is the best I can say about the place

The A/C unit(s) makes a loud sound when starting up. Then it makes weird noises throughout the cycle. Monday, I was sweating in bed it was so hot in the room. The place is going down hill fast. It is not worth a 7.7 rating (Good). It is closer to a dive.

Property is clean, bright, and has historic character. Great location and readily accessible to surrounding areas.

If you have back problems, beware of the very soft mattresses.

Staff was professional but friendly. Room was nice. Bed was very comfortable.

Ice machine on my floor was broken. View of police department. No option for tea in room just coffee.
