I CINQUE TRULLI with Swimming Pool

We loved the character of the Trulli, it's not a central location but it's in beautiful quaint surroundings and the hosts Maria and Angelo are wonderful, so friendly and accommodating. The home grown cherries they offered us were delicious, and they gave the children an ornament of a Trulli as memorabilia which was very cute. It was so nice to explore Italy in a traditional way. The ironing board and iron, as well as hairdryer were a welcome addition especially if you're travelling light. The kitchen although very small works well and is well equipped,, although a toaster would be beneficial.

We booked through booking.com stating that there was a pool, there is but it's seasonal and only open in the summer months. I only found this out a few days prior to arrival after messaging the agent. Also worth noting that there's 5 resident cats which are very friendly and my children loved them, but I'm allergic so couldn't get too close, so worth noting if you're not a cat lover.

Property is beautiful, cozy and comfortable. Not centrally located but we knew that and we decided to stay far from the town. The people in charge were super nice and very helpful recommending places.

We received some restrictions about pool usage after we booked the place and literally 24 hours before our arrival. It would have been better to know it beforehand. I would also suggest having a microwave

The five of us (mum, dad, 2 kids & grandma) spent a wonderful 2 weeks at I Cinque Trulli. It’s a beautiful, peaceful place in the countryside outside Martina Franca - a great location for visiting the top sights of Puglia (you definitely need a car). The bedrooms were very comfortable and we especially loved the garden and the large swimming pool. The Castellanas were the most gracious hosts and even included us in their Ferragosto celebrations, treating us to delicious local specialities and generous hospitality. They also brought us home-brewed wine and cake during our stay. We all loved it and would highly recommend it.

Warm welcome from house owners, beautiful Trullo site, with wonderful gardens, views, and swimming pool. Family owners kindly properly guided on arrival, they also offered fresh fruits and a bottle of wine for pranzo.

It is strongly recommended to extend the time to enjoy the swimming pool. Limit the access to it to 2 hours in the morning and 2 in the afternoon is definitely not enough, especially in summer season.

Amazing trulli in great condition with great facilities, just as portrayed in the pictures. Maria the host was very sweet and accommodating, even though there was a language barrier. The 2 cats at the location were also a very welcome surprise as they were so friendly and sweet.

The only thing I was slightly disappointed with was the deposit could only be given in cash, so had to find an atm the day prior.

So wonderful a place, such a lovely hostess. Wonderful more than 100 years old Trulli, beautifully restored. Excellent pool area. We visited right in the heat wave, so the nights were hot since there was no A/C, but with open windows even the hot nights were tolerable. Perfectly situated for visits in central Puglia. We could not have wished for anything more.

This lovely trullo was exactly what we were hoping for. A genuine 100+ years old structure that is very well cared for. The swimming pool was a big plus and the shared hours were no issue at all. Maria was very nice, especially when we got very lost trying to find the location in the dark and she stayed up to welcome us until we arrived. There were some thoughtful touches such as the grapes from their vines for us to enjoy and we even got to try their wine. We would definitely stay here again.
