The cottage was fabulous including a plunge pool and magnificent views of the vineyards The staff was very attentive and helpful. The reservations manager was very welcoming and he even walked us to town thru a nice path crossing the vineyards..

I had loved for the plunge pool to be temperate / heated. It was too cold to use outside the summer season.

Beautiful property and facilities

Zero communication from the property prior to arrival which meant we weren’t informed of the complimentary wine tasting or the afternoon tea in the garden (both happen on the day of arrival). We arrived too late and basically used this beautiful property as a bed and breakfast. Such a shame.

Prachtige, luxueuze kamer met mooi uitzicht, ruim en comfortabel bed, grote badkamer met regendouche, bad, twee lavabo's, toilet + glaasje "champagne" en fles wijn als verwelkomingsgeschenk. We mochten de wijn jammer genoeg niet meenemen naar het restaurant (dit wordt vaak gedaan in ZA blijkbaar) en aangezien het onze laatste avond was in ZA, hebben we de wijn moeten laten staan.

De prijs voor de kamer was aan de hoge kant in vergelijking met de andere accommodaties in Zuid-Afrika. Op de website van La petite ferme stond een interessante deal "Winter Wonder" met breakfast & dinner inbegrepen in de prijs van de kamer, maar dit bleek helaas enkel voor inwoners van Zuid-Afrika te zijn. Wij als "internationals" moesten het avondeten apart bijbetalen, wat ik niet echt eerlijk vind. Het avondeten was lekker maar ook vrij duur in vergelijking met de rest van Zuid-Afrika.

Location is stunning, great breakfast and dinner and we enjoyed the wine of their best lineup. Our suite was exceptional and the possibility to do a wood first in the room wonderful. We do recommend.

Was difficult or impossible to have response to any of our message on the booking messenger system. Also, plenty of information about the inclusions would be great to have in advance of the stay so we plan accordingly.
