La habitación es preciosa, muy espaciosa. La decoración, los colores, el mobiliario. Todos los detalles cuidados. Se siente la historia hasta en las cucharas del té.

El Navegante B&B is in a perfect location! It is in the charming Cerró Concepción, two, blocks from the top of Elevator/ ascensor Concepción. Charming murals, restaurants and pedestrian plazas are within three-minute walks. Alejandra is a gracious, kind, friendly, helpful host. I cannot say enough good things about her! She was so helpful, giving us recommendations, directions, hooking us up with a taxi driver, and honest reviews of different restaurants. The room was large, with a lovely view of the bay, and the moon out the large windows. It had a huge bathroom. The house is historic and charming, though the noise does reverberate on the beautiful wooden floors.  The breakfast was brought to our room, delicious, and good quality. El navegante is an excellent value!

As in all of all Valparaiso, houses are old, so the walls and windows are thin and you hear the noise from the surrounding neighborhoods. Similarly, houses do not have elevators, so expect to climb stairs.

La signora che ci ha ospitati è davvero gentilissima e fin dal nostro arrivo ci ha fatti sentire a casa. La stanza era pulitissima — e lo dico da persona molto esigente in fatto di pulizia — e il materasso comodissimo. La posizione è perfetta per visitare la zona. Essendo l’unica stanza con la moquette, ci ha chiesto cortesemente di utilizzare le pantofole fornite, pulite e confortevoli: un’attenzione che ho apprezzato moltissimo e che mi ha dato ulteriore sicurezza sulla cura e l’igiene della struttura. La colazione in camera è stata davvero molto buona; da italiana consiglierei forse il tè al posto del caffè 😉

L’unico piccolo punto negativo è l’assenza del bollitore in camera (io senza tisana non dormo!), ma la signora è stata così disponibile da prepararmela lei stessa prima di andare a dormire. Un gesto che conferma quanto ci si senta davvero coccolati… come a casa!

Perfect location, clean and comfortable, Alejandra was super welcoming and provided suggestions and assistance for places to eat and go, breakfast was great: scrambled eggs, toast, ham, salami, cheese, yogurt, coffee and my favourite, fresh cherries! She even made me tea before bed one night. Also the price was very reasonable. I will definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Valparaiso.

Nothing, but you should know there was a cat who hung out in the hallway, in case you are allergic (I’m not)

El lugar se ubica en pleno barrio pintoresco, seguro y lleno de lugarcitos para comer y beber. Super comodo y muy atenta la dueña, siempre predispuesta para todo.

Muy buena ubicación para recorrer los cerros Alegre y Concepción. Alejandra es muy atenta.

Seul bemol, la porte possède une vitre floutée ce qui restreint l’intimité. On voit les silhouettes passés dans le couloirs et on entend aussi tout ce qu’il se passe
