Die Größe des Hotels entsprach genau unseren Vorstellungen. Die Premium Sommerkarte von St. Anton war im Preis enthalten wodurch man einiges spart (Bergbahn, Fahrradverleih, etc). Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich, Bad geräumig und alles sehr sauber.

Wir haben nach unserer Abreise leider festgestellt dass wir mein eigenes Kissen im Zimmer vergessen haben. Der Kösslerhof hat sich dazu bis heute nicht bei uns gemeldet - auch auf meine Nachfrage per E-Mail, ob man mir bitte mein Nackenkissen zuschicken könnte (natürlich würde ich die Versandkosten selbst übernehmen denn ist ist kein billiges Kissen gewesen und ich hätte es schon gerne wieder bekommen) habe ich keine Rückmeldung erhalten. Schade, dass bleibt dann doch negativ haften.

We couldn't have been happier with this hotel, everything about it was wonderful. From the welcome the moment we walked in to the evening meal and breakfast, it far exceeded our expectations. The staff were wonderful and very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, and the room was lovely and comfortable. The view was pretty good too!

There was nothing we didn't like, it was all great. We booked two nights, one on our way to Italy and one on our way back. The risk with this is that it's not as good as you hoped and you have to go back for a second night when you might not want to, but that certainly wasn't an issue here, we were thrilled to be back and even got the same rooms!

The food at the hotel was excellent, with breakfast being a particular highlight. Guests can make use of the convenient boot and ski room to store their equipment. The rooms are of a comfortable size and cleaned daily. For those who enjoy après-ski, the hotel is just a five-minute walk from the lively MooserWirt bar. The sauna offers a relaxing escape with stunning mountain views, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day on the slopes.

The hotel is located a 25-minute walk from the town centre along the main road (unless you ski down). There is a free shuttle bus every half an hour in the day, but it charges you 2.5 euros in the evening, and you can pay in cash only. Taxi from town is 21 euros. There are no shops near the hotel. The reception is only really manned in the morning/afternoon. The bar closes after dinner, and there is no communal area to sit, so you need to stay in your room in the evening. It is not a ski-in/out hotel. You need to walk to the slope, up the hill. I posted a photo of the little access road which takes you to the main slope into town. Be careful. It gets icy and slippery.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is near the ski piste number 5, so you can ski directly to the ski lifts or you can go directly to the city centre by bus (bus station in front of a hotel) which goes every 10-15 min. The breakfasts and dinners were great with lovely staff and a great host at reception.
