Lovely couple hosts, good breakfast with lots of choice, great views and grounds

There was absolutely nothing not to like!! The owners are exceptionally friendly and service minded. Breakfast was awesome as well. A wonderful place to for sure come back to!

This property is an oasis of calm and tranquility. It is set in the natural reservation of the region, and extends to the salt flats of Castro Marim. The views are vast and serene. Espargosa is located 5km away from the beaches, less than 1 km away from Castro Marim town (for restaurants, services and ATM), and also 5km from the quiet Vila Real de Santo António (in Portugal) and the slightly more buzzling Ayamonte (in Spain). There's plenty to do around the region, but you can also simply choose to relax around the property. There are plenty of lovely niches, be it by the pool, under a tree or on the outdoor couches, where you can set up to read a book or simply listen to the birds or even watch the night sky. There's also beautiful art pieces decorating both the inside and the outside the house that both surprise, inspire and delight the eye and soul. I traveled with my cat, and it was perfect for her too. The room service would not enter the room without asking me first, so the cat would not be startled. The room was a suite and air-conditioned, on the ground floor (all of them are) with access to the patio and grounds, all very perfectly accessible, comfortable and practical. There is no TV in the bedrooms (only in the living room — perfect). At the time of my stay, there were multiple dogs from other guests and there was no problem at all. All guests keep their pets respectfully controlled at all times, making this is a pet loving little community (guests, staff and owners) so everyone felt safe and welcome. The included breakfast is generous and varied, and accommodating of the guest's preferences, provide the guests with the best start to their day. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen and its varied appliances (except for the complicated stove), so it was easy to store food or heat up something to eat. Fruit, tea and coffee are available at all times. I have already recommended this property to friends and family, and will certainly come back.
