The place was lovely, with a super comfy room and bed, and the breakfast was amazing (tasty and copious), freshly prepared by our hosts in the morning and brought in a small and cozy lounge. Finally Aberlour is a great location if you want to discover the whisky distilleries of the Speyside (we were there during the whisky festival). There are a few distilleries around, one accessible by foot and some other ones a few minutes away by car, and for having lunch or dinner there are a few restaurants/pubs in walking distance.

Not something that we did not like, but something that one should know: one cannot bring takeaway food in the rooms so better to book a table in one of the restaurants nearby in advance for dinner as they can be packed, especially during the festive season, and service ends quite early.

This place is immaculate, and the couple that runs it are extremely friendly.

Passamos uma noite no Bankhouse B&B após um longo dia de estrada e depois de um passeio maravilhoso pela Destilaria Macallan. Foi, sem dúvida, uma escolha mais do que acertada. Fomos recebidos pelos proprietários, Eileen e Jim, um casal simplesmente simpaticíssimo, extremamente educado e muito acolhedor. Desde o primeiro momento nos fizeram sentir muito bem-vindos. Posso dizer que foi uma das Bed & Breakfast mais limpas, organizadas e perfeitas em que já nos hospedamos. O quarto era muito simpático e acolhedor, e o banheiro impecável: limpíssimo e muito bem equipado, com tudo pensado nos mínimos detalhes. Na manhã seguinte nos foi servido um delicioso café da manhã, com várias opções à escolha, tudo preparado com muito cuidado e carinho. Sem dúvida, ficar no Bankhouse B&B foi a decisão perfeita. Um lugar encantador, confortável e com uma hospitalidade genuína que fez nossa experiência ainda mais especial. Review in English We spent one night at Bankhouse B&B after a long day on the road and a wonderful visit to The Macallan Distillery. It was definitely the perfect choice. We were warmly welcomed by the owners, Eileen and Jim, a truly lovely couple — extremely polite, friendly, and very welcoming. From the very first moment they made us feel at home. I can honestly say it was one of the cleanest, most organized, and most perfect Bed & Breakfasts we have ever stayed in. The room was charming and cozy, and the bathroom was impeccable: spotless and very well equipped, with great attention to every detail. The next morning we were served a delicious breakfast, with several options to choose from, all prepared with great care. Without a doubt, staying at Bankhouse B&B was the right decision. A charming place, very comfortable, with genuine hospitality that made our experience even more special.

It was Honstly spotless it was so clean and eveything was perfect the food was amazing and the owners were lovely so attentive to everything you got all the essentials for the shower and coffee bar it really was amazing I will definitely be back
