Wonderful overnight B&B in the centre of Aberlour. Friendly hosts. Wonderful breakfast. Recommend.

Enjoyed my two night stay. Parking is easy with places to eat (booking in advance). My room was spotlessly clean, with some nice additional touches. Bed was very comfortable, and my room was quiet at night. Spacious bathroom with good shower and water pressure. Breakfast is good quality cooked to order with a selection of choices. Eileen and Jim are excellent hosts. Look forward to staying again. Recommended.

Situated right in the heart of Aberlour and a minutes walk to the River Spey, this is the perfect base for exploring Speyside and its distilleries. The Mash Tun Hotel with its many whiskies is just across the park. There’s great coffee just across the road. This place is very comfortable and very clean. And the breakfasts are awesome!

The Bankhouse is located smack in the square of Aberlour. You couldn’t ask for a better location. I ended up staying two nights here so I can explore some of the local area. The hosts were fantastic! The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had so far. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice room with a great bathroom.

When booking the rules of the B&B were not available. First you can only arrive after 5 pm. Then you can’t have a takeaway meal in the house at all! Considering that dinner is needed one can only have dinner at a restaurant or if you want to get something from the supermarket or a takeaway from the very nice deli next door you have to eat it … in the park when it’s raining!!! You can’t open the windows in the room they are locked! You must have breakfast at a specific time and if the other rooms want it when you do it’s not an option! If you want your heating changed in your room it’s not possible as it’s preset and that’s the only temperature you are going to have!!

It was so lovely. Eileen & Jim were very friendly and helpful. The B&B was very clean & comfortable. Breakfast was awesome with a great selection. Location for us was 100% and we would be very happy to stay again. Thank you so much.
