Excellent traditional German guesthouse, family owned and they cared about their property and most importantly their clients, food and service excellent, location perfect for the Black Forest experience and for visiting Schaffhausen and Zurich, it's also better value than Swiss hotels.

Separate toilet accross the hall is unconvinient.

The room is big, clean and well equipped. The staff is nice and the breakfast was wonderful!

Make sure to come in days that the restaurant is open because there aren't any options nearby.

- great location in the black forest - all is old but this is not negative in this case as this is what you are looking for if you book a hotel like this. It has its own charm. - I didn't dine but the smell was really promising - good mattress - nice shower - good size of the room

The hotel is fantastic. I was given the room overlooking the church and it was a lovely view all round. The sounds of the church bells ringing were so lovely. All the staff were amazing. They were so warm and inviting and kind. Went above and beyond. They were so good with my little girls. Food was fantastic. And portions were generous. I wish we had more days to explore around. But it was peaceful and gorgeous. My whole family loved it. We will be back next time for longer

Was actually a cool environment. Away from stress and everything. I think it's only easy to reach it by car. The rooms are spacious and clean. The Rumpsteak was phenomenal! At first ppl were a vit reserved, but everyone opened up eventually.

Actually, all was good. Wifi strong. There were a bit frozen places on the premises, so cars could not park in all the available spots. But other than thag I can recommend it.
