Uras Beach Hotel

Fantastic Turkish breakfast. Attentive staff who did everything to help us on our arrival and during our stay. A very well run hotel. The private beach and pool area had more than enough sunbeds for everyone and the beach service was an added bonus. I would love to return there again sometime in the near future.

An elevator would have been nice. Although our room was in a prime position on the first floor there was a lot of noise from the stairs just outside our door and the maid's station was also directly opposite.

So enjoyed our stay. Pool closes at 18:00 which seems early when we spent a whole day exploring Fethiye. Would have liked to take a dip when we returned just after 18:00.

The location was fabulous. Highly recommend a sea view room. The breakfast was out of this world. The food just kept coming! Amazing. Reception staff were top rate. Especially Sherif?! Not sure that is how you spell it but he couldn't do enough to help us. What an asset to the business

Unfortunately the restaurant manager ( I think) didn't have the same service skills as the rest of the staff. Impatient, indifferent and we definately got treat differently to the rest of the guest. Every other table were shown up the see the mezze available, not us. He simply rolled his eyes when we hadn't decided without offering any interest in assisting us or offering us a drink first. Such a shame. The evening meal was average also.

2 flights of stairs to get to the room, the building doesn't have a lift.

This was our second visit to the hotel. It is in an excellent spot with overlooking the sea and we had a beautiful view of that and the pool area from our balcony. Lovely spacious room and bathroom with complimentary toiletries. The room is kept spotless and the housekeeping staff are excellent and so friendly. In fact all members of staff are exceptionally nice. The breakfast is amazing, so much choice and all delicious. Being right on the prom it is quite noisy in the evenings but if we were in bed before the music stopped some earplugs blot out all the noise.

My only issues were (i) the WIFI which was very poor. Despite being connected to the main WIFI we constantly struggled for signal and constantly had to wait for the connection to restore. It was very frustrating. The other thing is the quality of the hairdryer is very poor considering this hotel is not a budget one. The lowest speed, and cuts out after about a minute of drying time meaning you have to wait about 5 minutes before it can be used again. I did query this last year and was told it was normal. A small suggestion - a stool under the counter in the bedroom would make it much easier for applying make-up etc.
