Definitely a great place to stay if you are visiting Kawagoe with its historic 'Edo Town', as the nearest station (Matoba) is just two stops away. The very kind owner/host offers a comfortable place to stay with excellent hospitality and flexibility for not just solo travellers but couples and even small groups. The location is just a short walk from the station with plenty of shops nearby to meet your short-term shopping needs. The spacious room with the basic furnishings proved to be a great value for the few days I spent exploring Kawagoe and I definitely recommend it!

The host is nice even he was not able to speak English. The house is clean and tidy.

To catch the timing of the bus to town was challenging as is not frequent.Will be good if toilet is available on the 2nd floor where we stay.
