Abode Philadelphia - Center City Convention Center

Privacy! Safe & well spacious!

The apartment was beautiful but was disappointed because the apartment is at the top of the building. It's a lot of stairs, we bring a lot of luggage was not fun carrying our luggage on these stairs. Too much noise, we had a hard time sleeping, the traffic there is all the time. I recommend putting something in the windows as proof of sound. They way to open the door is a little tricky.

Cute place, conveniently located just a few blocks from the convention center! Walkable!! It was perfect for my short business trip!! Updated and modern, might need a little touch up paint just from every day wear and tear, but overall very nice, and had everything I needed! Customer service was also very helpful, and real time quick responsive even late at night and on the weekend!!

location was super convenient to the convention center but it’s literally next door to the highway and the road noise from that and the fact that there are large high level windows with no blinds means getting any sort of sleep there requires you to have an eye mask and ear plugs which we purchased, because I only got 2 hours of sleep the first night and not good quality sleep the rest of the time. It was the absolute worst, would never stay again. Abode also requires you to send a bunch of extra info (like screenshots of your cc statement and licenses) which I have never had to do and seemed very odd and invasive. Never using their properties again either for how restricts they were.

It was a total nightmare to start with. They need all this information the day of your stay, which was hard to get to them since we flew. Then we get there and tried to check in an hour early which nothing was ready even though I had just talked to someone minutes prior saying we were on the way. We get there and it is easily 4 flights of stairs with no elevator( we had to older parents and a baby) with a bunch of luggage. I emailed Abode about having to climb stairs and the said they posted it but you have to look in the fine print and all it says is no elevator, not that you have to spend your whole trip working out just to get up and down the stairs. I will never stay here and I would never recommend this to anyone.

The sheets and couch were stained as well as the rug. They used a sheet to put over the blanket so you couldn’t see the stain. The communication was horrible.

I enjoyed the property overall and proximity to restaurants, convention center and walking distance to other attractions.

The bed frame was broken, but then fixed with a piece of random wood. This wood was secured to the frame with sharp screws that were shooting out underneath the bed and posed a dangerous hazard. The cleaning people obviously never cleaned under the bed or t hey would have seen the issue. Ended up having to sleep on the floor.

The property had a great location. It was nicely designed and well equipped for a long weekend or longer stay in Philadelphia .

Great experience, patio / patio furniture just need updating and cleaning .
