Good Location and nice and helpful host.

Unfortunately the property was poorly cleaned and in some areas poorly maintained. It smelled musty and damp, our clothes and the bed were damp. The drain in the bathroom was smelly. Although the host was really kind and checked on the drain, we didn’t really feel comfortable and wouldn’t book it again unfortunately. But what I must say is: even though parking is a challenge, the location of the property is close to the centre.

very good location, close to the center, parking space is not available but on the street or the street next door there was no problem with parking even on the weekend. spacious apartment, washing machine and all cleaning products available, contact with the owner without problems

After entering the apartment, a very strong smell of damp that went away after a few days of airing. too many different fabric trinkets that collect dust and damp - I think that after eliminating them it would be much better. location in a noisy area of ​​the city center - near a bar so if someone has a bad sleep I do not recommend. there is no air conditioning so you have to sleep with an open window and there is no air conditioning.

Location is great, on one of the narrow streets in the centre , close to the botanical garden, market and some good eateries. Walking distance to the pineapple plantation, Lava jazz club, marina, etc. The place has a very homey feel to it, kitchen is well equipped and the bedroom was very roomy and comfortable. Nice living room too with guidebooks on the table. The courtesy umbrellas were a really nice touch and came very handy while I was walking to the pineapple plantation. Parking situation was ok at the end of May, I can't talk to what it'd be like in the peak season.

I liked the lock box method to pick up the keys. It was easy and convenient for us. The location is extremely central in Ponta Delgada and it was very comfortable. The lack of parking space wasn't a large issue; we were able to find on-street paid parking, and daily rate was just over 6 Euros/day. Communication to the owners via WhatsApp was very easy and fast. Bathroom was smaller than expected but all important amenities were available. The lighting decor was a lovely touch to ambience. WiFi connection was strong throughout the apartment.

Provided knives in the kitchen could be sharpened; they were very dull when attempting to slice fruit. The toaster also tripped the circuit breaker. Would also appreciate some instructions on the range hood as it is quite different to other countries. We did not know the location was on a busy road, thus there were much noise from street level overnight which travelled into the apartment. The shower stall was quite small, and would have appreciated a small shelf for personal toiletries. Since Azores is touting to be an eco-destination, would appreciate instructions on how to recycle waste other than general refuse.
