OYO Alto Da Praia Hotel, Aracaju

The hotel is far from the sea. If you walk, the pavement is full of holes and uneven - if you don´t pay attention you will fall. There are no restaurants or other facilities around the hotel. The room is clean and the bathroom is good, but small. There is a very small patio with a small swimming pool and 4 tables with chairs. The breakfast is not to everyone´s taste - too much cake and pastries. The room service is very poor. The pizza was microwaved and raw - we could not eat it! The cheese and ham sandwich was the worst we have ever eaten. Bring a mosquito net if you don´t want to be bitten during the night. We left the hotel covered in mosquito bites. The air conditioning is good and silent. The people at reception are nice and helpful. The standard is more like of a "pousada" than of a hotel.
