Cityhotel

Kyiv's City Hotel is a newer highrise located on the northwest fringe of downtown Old Kyiv. Very well situated. Safe neighbourhood, lots of shops, eateries and parks nearby. Transit (metro) is 10 minute walk away. Staff quite good in English. Restaurant on 15th floor has great views of the city. Fitness room is a decent size and well-equipped.

Centrally located , beautiful rooms and great breakfast!

Very modern , clean and comfortable , extremely good value for money ! Breakfast was over priced though so would recommend going elsewhere if you prefer a full English !!

Nice place. Big rooms. Arrived late with a pretty cold welcome. Comfortable bed. It would be nice to have 1 big bed instead of a double bed. First time in Kiev . The room is decent. Pretty big and clean.

My room was on the third floor overlooking a busy street, the traffic noise at all hours of the day and night was distracting.

This was a super clean and comfortable room with a balcony and water, tea, coffee replaced daily. The breakfast in the Matisse restaurant at the top of the building was a huge let down and VERY expensive. Whilst the view was amazing, the staff were surly and grumpy. They didn't offer any coffee even though the machine wasn't working and didn't offer the hot breakfast. Also the hotel is quite a walk from everywhere unless you get the metro ( 7 minutes walk away) . We had room service breakfast which was definitely good value for money. The beds were amazing and overall we had a lovely comfortable stay.

The rooms and meals are of a very high standard, clean and comfortable hotel. A good location in the city center. The dining room is located on the top floors with a marvelous view of the city. I recommend.

Hotel is centrally located, but hidden from noise and traffic of the busy street.

I have just returned from a 4 night stay at CityHotel and it was generally an excellent stay- our only real niggles came from the restaurant. The check in- fast and friendly. Staff at reception were welcoming and happy to help with any requests including provision of ice buckets, ironing boards and booking restaurants. The room- lovely comfortable beds and a spacious, powerful shower. We were in room 612 and were disturbed early one morning by the bin men and one other morning by some building work noise perhaps? Keep the windows closed and shouldn’t be an issue! Restaurant- I want to start by saying the food was tasty and staff tried hard to describe items in english when asked. However timings were a bit odd- so our main meal came out while I was still eating starter... and the restaurant was quite quiet. After this we then had to ask for a dessert menu as were left for ages after the table was cleared of mains plates. We also ordered room service breakfast for 7am one morning as we had to leave by 7.20 for an excursion - unfortunately the food so not arrive until 7.20 despite a call to the room service department at 7.05 who said it would be with us in 2-3 minutes. This did mean we barely touched it and I left the room with a piece of toast in hand! Timing is often important in people’s days so please think about this! Location- good central location with easy access to metro etc but used Uber a fair bit- super cheap and always fast!!! Would definitely return - enjoy!
