Casa Grande - Minho's Guest

Room: "Quarto Encarnado". Very spacious airy varnished-wood-floored room, tastefully decorated. Located in an old house, so not a typical modern formulaic hotel room. Bathroom not en-suite, but situated close to the room with exclusive use. Located on the top floor of the building so excellent for cardiovascular exercise as access is by staircase only. Location of the accommodation was perfect, close to the old centre of Braga. Online check-in was fairly easy to negotiate. Instructions for access by email. Keys kept in key-safes.

L’emplacement

Grosse déception. La chambre est située au 3 eme étage (très grands étages) sans ascenseur. Attention aux photos, on n’est pas vraiment dans le beau bâtiment, l’entrée se fait sur le côté par un bar. Chambre sans vue ni vraie fenêtre. Salle de bain minuscule (impossible d’ouvrir la porte si on met le tapis de douche au sol) et qui sans mauvais la cuisine, les odeurs remontent pas la ventilation. Aucun accueil, on est juste bombardé les jours avant l’arrivée de message obligeants à s’enregistrer en ligne pour pouvoir accéder à la chambre.

Wir machen eine Tour durch Portugal und das war bisher unsere schönste und am einfachsten zugängliche Unterkunft. Das Zimmer war genau so wie auf den Bildern und direkt im Zentrum. Die Check-In und Check-Out Details waren zeitig und sehr ausführlich, so dass alles reibungslos funktionierte. Den Host konnten wir leider nicht persönlich kennenlernen, über die Nachrichten aber extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Trotz der Bar, die wohl unten im Gebäude ist, sehr ruhige Gegend. Bett war sehr gemütlich. Können wir uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen und würden es wieder buchen. Der Föhn wurde wohl auch ausgetauscht, der war super 😅

Ein kleineres Problem sind Parkplätze. Es gibt zwar welche drum herum, allerdings meistens mit Höchstparkdauer von 2 Stunden. Nicht weit weg ist allerdings eine Tiefgarage, die von einem sehr freundlichen Mann geführt wird. Kostet allerdings selbstverständlich Geld. Ein noch kleineres Problem: nicht wirklich Druck hinter der Dusche, der Wasserstrahl ist wirklich sehr wenig 😀

The location was ideal. It’s just outside the archway into the old town (2 minute walk) and very quiet. Comfortable room too.

Its a bit more f a hike up stairs to get to it. It wasn’t bad, but if you don’t do stairs, this might not be the best room. The property also had another room on the first floor, though.

A localização, quarto é amplo

O frigorífico é muito pequeno, falta uma mesa e um microondas.

Plus d'équipement dans la cuisine comme torchon pour s'essuyer la main avec un crochet pour la salle de bain porte-serviette, de un ou deux sacs poubelle de plus en dépannage. Sinon très bien situé au centre-ville tout accès à pied et confortables je recommande vivement
