A wonderful mountain retreat with amazing breakfast (western menu was our preference). Had a wonderful night's sleep after a day visiting museums & Hachioji in general and woke up ready to fight the nearby mountains!

Everything was hunky-dory but if using bus as your public transport, there's a wee walk near the end.

The host! Mr. Tatar. The food! A must. I’ve lived in Japan over 30 years. Traditional Mongolian lamb. Everything is homemade hand cooked. Absolutely amazing. So kind for a free pick up at the train station and then the next morning as we went to our Hike a ride to the train station. It was a beautiful property. On a hill, beautiful nature all around old Japanese house completely restored. Furnishing Beautiful the tatami mats.
