Mira Monte Inn & Suites

The property was quiet, unique, and close in walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor where lots of shopping and restaurants were located. We loved the scratch made breakfast they had everyday as well. It’s was the perfect thing to start off the morning!

The breakfast was wonderful and the room was clean and nice. Great location to town, grocery store and Acadia. Washer and dryer on site worked beautifully. It was a lovely place to stay.

I am a lover of sitting outdoors under the trees. Unfortunately they hadn’t mowed the grass yet, we were there in the beginning of the season in May, and the grounds were not yet attended to.

Very centrally located, different breakfast every morning, they give umbrellas and rainy day schedules. The main building is nice. Very attentive to the guests. Our first room wasn’t done with some construction that was going on in it. So we got upgraded for free to a larger suite in the secondary building. They had really good recommendations for food in town for dinners and lunch.

The breakfast was always super wet, I wish they included an English muffin or some sort of bread with the savory options that were more watery. The main host is very chatty, which some people love, my wife and I were just trying to have a romantic getaway so we had to avoid being around. There was some hairs in the tub that were neither of ours which was surprising. Some of the base board vents were popping off. Please have a couch instead of two chairs so couples can be closer to each other when watching movies!

The Rocklynn Room was beautiful! We had the best time staying here. It was clean, spacious, comfortable, and in a great location - walking distance from most shops! The staff were wonderful.

Our only complaint is that we found this stay when using a "Free Breakfast" filter, however upon booking we were made aware that free breakfast is only included May-October. Wasn't a big deal for us personally, but I don't think the filter should be on there in the off season

We were somewhat mixed about our stay. The room was clean, and we were in a small cottage at the back of the inn. It was calm. However, the pillows were extremely thin, and we ended up with neck pain.

We were also unable to enjoy the main inn’s common lounge, as everything was closed and covered, as if renovations were underway. This was not indicated at the time of booking. There was no staff on site, so we were unable to do anything about canceling our reservation. The breakfast was very poor—essentially convenience store breakfast sandwiches with prepackaged muffins. There was no fruit, and only decaffeinated coffee was available. We also noticed that several inns were closed during the winter period. In our opinion, this inn should consider closing as well if it can only offer such minimal and low-quality services.
