Tekapo Blue

We loved this dear little Tekapo blue cottage. Felt very at home and just loved our fabulous view!! Thank you and we will recommend this to friends. We will be back!

The only thing we didn’t like was the black toilet. The black bath !!! OK!!

I booked till the 28th. It was shock to find it was supposedly 27th so it was a shock when we had to rush back from Twizeln to clear out the apartment .I think a text the night b4 to say clear out tomorrow may have averted the trouble we caused . We are sorry for our part in this conundrum

The location and house facilitates were excellent.

The actual traffic and parking were not adequate for the number of tourists in the area. This includes popular tourist spots and the main shopping area. I wonder what drivers appear to overtake and drive without caution on the roads around New Zealand.

The location was quite convenient to town centre and other attractions. The house and kitchen was spacious. Reliable WIFI access. Convenient parking at doorstep. Easy to check in and appreciate the earlier check in at 2 pm.

Very blunt knives in the kitchen which can be very dangerous when cooking. Basic cooking supplies such as oil was not provided in such a big kitchen indicates that the host discourages people from cooking. If we had known earlier we would have visited the supermarket first. Outdoor furniture was very dusty so we refrained from using.

I loved soaking in the big bathtub. Also, the large kitchen island with the big cooktop was nice.

The place was superficially very clean. However, I noticed dust on the interior window frames and greasy dust on the top of the light switch plates and electrical outlet plates. For the high price, I would expect that deep cleaning would be done more frequently. Also, it would have been nice to have a coffee table or end table near the sofa. If there was a hairdryer, I didn’t find it.
