Tekapo Blue

Great cottage! It has a big kitchen, good bed and even a bath! The fire place was also so great!! We really enjoyed our stay and even booked a second night :) at night you can sit on your patio to watch the stars! It is a little way off from the Centre (with all the restaurants), but we had a car and we cooked both nights so we did not mind at all!

Super comfortable, cosy and warm. Well equipped and good layout and set up.

Only thing was the children from the neighbouring house playing in the drive in the morning but it wasn't a big deal.

Location was good, heat pump gets the property warm enough. Big bath.

After staying at lots of accommodation around this price point, this place was really disappointing. No nice to haves at all. Minimal kitchen utensils (not even 2 matching mugs!), no blanket/throw for being cosy on the sofa, no cushions, all mis-matched old furniture, old sagging mattress, lots of cigarette buts in the parking bag outside the property (not ok at all), and not even any wood inside - there’s a wood store but as soon as you get there you need to go and start chopping. Bathroom COLD and the bath taps are falling off the wall. I wouldn’t stay again and couldn’t recommend it. Not good value for money.

Needed a Snow Shovel in property

Clean and tidy, quality cutlery etc, quiet location, comfortable.

Bed was not ideal. Mattress very tired (sagged in the middle).

Host was responded quickly and willingly to solve the problem(gas was run out). There are 4 bedrooms with 3 toilets which is very convenient.
